About us

Picks for Paws is a small, independent site for people who share their lives with dogs and cats. We publish gift guides sorted by budget and free calculators for everyday pet-care questions.

How we choose products

Product names, prices and photos come directly from retailers’ product data — we don’t invent or edit them. We check links regularly and remove items that go out of stock. Prices change; the retailer’s page always has the current price.

How we build calculators

Every calculator cites the veterinary or scientific source of its formula. Where the evidence is limited, we say so. Calculators are estimates for healthy animals and never replace your vet.

How we make money

Some links are affiliate links: if you buy, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. See ourdisclosure.
